D.C. protest supports immigration enforcement
April 03, 2007
A coalition of organizations plan to converge on Washington, D.C. on April 22-26, 2007, in support of comprehensive immigration enforcement rather than amnesty in dealing with illegal immigration. A rally in Lafayette Park organized by DA King of the Dustin Inman Society, will take place across from the White House at the start of the protest.

In addition to participation from citizen activists, 34 talk radio show hosts and bloggers will be part of a radio and blogger row set up by Roger Hedcock, San Francisco area radio announcer. Angry truckers are considering a plan to block the freeways around Washington on April 23.

"Our citizen lobbyist will go office to office in Washington while thousands of citizens show their support by flooding the phone lines in D.C. with calls opposing any legislation that allows illegal aliens to stay in America," announced William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC).

Citizens interested in contributing to this immigration enforcement protest need to go here (http://www.holdtheirfeettothefire.org/).
