The tree and book displaying the donors for the 13th Annual Gift of Light, Gift of Love benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of the Four States this year will be displayed from November 7 until December 31, 2014, in front of the Macy's women's store at the Northpark Mall. An official lighting for the tree whose theme is "Believe in the Miracle," will take place beginning at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014.
Donors may select among six levels of sponsorship. They are: Miracle, $10,000; Believe, $5,000; Peace, $2500; Wish, $1,000; Hope, $400 and Joy, up to $400. All donors will be recognized in the donor book at the base of the tree. Hope sponsorships and up will also be recognized on the tree with special scrolls designating their sponsorship level. Believe and Miracle sponsors will be recognized on signage near the tree as well.

Holiday event is scheduled
Seven of Branson's stars will perform in an event beginning at 10 a.m. (doors open at 9:30 a.m.) on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at the Central Christian Center, 410 S. Virginia, Joplin. They are Terry Sanders and Clarence Peabody acting as hosts, the Liverpool Legend Beatles Tribute Band, Acrobats of China, impressionist Jeff Brandt, trick roper Johnny Lonestar, magician Dave Hamner and a special taped appearance by the Osmonds. VIP tickets for goody bags and a special pre-event show, limited to 100, will be sold for $20 and may be purchased at the Ronald McDonald House, 3402 S. Jackson, Joplin. The headliner show will include Ronald McDonald.
This Ozark Mountain Christmas Show will be recorded for rebroadcast during the holiday season. It will air on regional cable television systems including CableOne, Mediacom and Suddenlink.
