Autism is on the rise; seek an assessment

New statistics provided by the Centers for Disease Control reports one in 68 children in the United States has an autism spectrum disorder and in Missouri, one in 70 children, a 30% increase in just two years. Easter Seals Midwest, formerly Life Skills/TouchPoint Autism Services, is the oldest and largest provider of autism services in the state and offers help for individuals with autism and their families

With early diagnosis, intervention, and consistent application of behavioral techniques children with autism can be successful at school, home, and in the community. Easter Seals Midwest also provides a two-week parent training course developed for families dealing with autism. Additional programs support and encourage clients living with autism.
