Arts 'n crafts and cider, oh my

The 18th Annual Cider Days on Historic Walnut Street will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on September 19 & 20, 2015. The two-day festival that draws 15,000 spectators annually features over 75 regional artists and crafters displaying jewelry, clay, wood, glass, photography and fiber art. Also featured are hands-on activities for kids including face painting and pumpkin painting sponsored by the Springfield Urban Agriculture Coalition and three performance stages.

Managed by the Downtown Springfield Association, the event is sponsored by Journal Broadcast Group, Ozark Empire Fair Foundation, School of Rock, Petsway, University Plaza, Springfield Re-Bath, Welk Resorts, Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper Bottling Company, The Springfield News-Leader, Springfield-Greene County Park Board, and the Historic Walnut Street Association.
